First off I think you have really nice taste in dinnerware I liked the Santorini, Shade-Blossom and Villa Rose ones, but they are all pretty nice!

China Dinnerware "Service for"?

I'm looking in to buying some new China Dinnerware. The thing is I'm not sure on the right "service for" number. I have a rather large family both on my side and with my in-laws. I want to get the right number so that when I have everyone over for the holidays we donât run out. Can anyone help?

mom says to count the maximum number of guests you expect at one time then add four extra

12 guests + 4 spare = 16

you would order a service for 16 - that way if one ever got broken or you needed a plate to set a cake on you have it
