I have a 6 place setting Johnson bros snow white dinner service that is not in use, I am looking to sell it but have no idea who to approach and how to know that I am getting a good deal... Has anyone sold a dinner service like this before and could give me an idea of an asking price or does anyone know how to go about selling it?
Thanks

Answer
Selling an establishment is always a challenging move to make. I would suggest you first do market research and industry research. That is, find out about the demographics the dinner service served, and find out if there are competitors (within a 5-mile radius) who may present problems to your sale of the property.

How do I find a Crystal Dinner set without knowing the manufacturer?

My Grandmothers fine crystal service set was broken when her dining room cabinet shelf broke during christmas. The set was given to her as a wedding present in the 1940's. I have searched ebay and yahoo looking for something similar as a replacement with no luck? Is there another site out there?

Yes, try http://www.replacements.com/index.htm
