I don't want to buy one of those 16-piece sets, because I've got mugs coming out of my ears already!

Answer
try pottery barn and ikea

what is better Bone China or Corelle dinnerware?

I know bone china is the strongest dinnerware that doesn't chip easily, and Corelle is made of Vitrelle glass that is also chip resistant. But if you had to choose which would be a better, stronger, break resistant dinnerware, which would you choose?

Answer
As a Potteries UK resident, living in the home of world famous bone china,I'd say.For better dinnerware bone china looks best on a formal setting-imagine the President or our Queen hosting a meal served on glassware. For strength, bone china has been demonstrated to support a London 'bus on four teacups.
Glass is more resistant to breakage, but chips more readily than bone china.
As a clincher a set of bone china, such as Royal Albert "Country Rose" pattern with beautiful decoration and gilding would grace any home and be a prized heirloom for generations.
