Restaurants that don't have a set menu on new years?

I was planning on going out for a nice romantic dinner on new years eve but it seems as though most restaurants have set menus that go for at least $80 a head. Does anyone know of any restaurants that aren't doing anything "special" for NYE but will still remain open? Preferably not anywhere generic like jack astors or moxies.

I'm thinking of renting a venue that has dinner set for 8pm. I want to booze and dance at my wedding! I don't want dinner to go until 10, which only leaves 2 hours for boozing and dancing.

We are having 1 app, a main course and dessert - how long should this take? An hour??

Have you already set the Menu? We are having
Menu: Appertizers - Cajun chicken puffs, some spinach wrap, and a large fruit and cheese table
Meat -- Chef sliced prime rib on french bread - pork loin on garlic cibbiatta - grilled chicken on crisonti
Vegtable- fried green beans, Mashed and sweet potatoes put in martini glasses with a variety of toppings i.e. bacon, brown sugar.
Dessert- Cake, Cookies and Donuts :)

But all set up as stations to keep people moving and talking... i want to enjoy my wedding and booze too... so i'm with you girl... our reception starts at 7:30pm so i would strongly suggest doing something like this... i think it will allow you to have you cake and eat it too...lol.... without stressing out about dinner taking too long, or anything else.. hope that helps... :)
