Answers to my other question about this dining set were excellent. If you answered that question and have an opinion on this issue, please answer.
Thanks for any help. I haven't bought anything yet. I'm still trying to figure out my style.

no i think the dishes would go great with the table. but i think you should put a centerpiece in the middle of the table when you get it, like an exotic plant or a beautiful art sculpture. that would be awesome i hope you like my answer .Good Luck

I am looking for a set I can use for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter...something a little dressier...what do you think?
I'm hosting my first Thanksgiving this year...Im a newlywed and thought it was about time my mom got a break from cooking! Im very excited about it! I figured i could get some pumpkins and paint them silver, kind of an elegant look to go with these...and I have deep red charger plates
Lets try that again!

Answer
The dishes are quite elegant, but remember these dishes with the silver trim are not able to be put in the dishwasher. They will all have to be washed by hand. I have a set of Noritake with the silver trim that is sitting in my china closet gathering dust. We don't even get them out for holidays anymore. Of course, we have at least 16 people at holidays, so the dishes can really pile up. For a small group, there would be no problem.
