Q. LOL! What a joke. It amazes me how much companies can "lye" about their products in order to get people to buy them. My Cascade brand electric dishwasher detergent mainly consists of sodium hydroxide and chlorine bleach. These are two of the most caustic chemicals compounds known to man, yet they advertise that their dishwasher detergent protects your dishes?

Answer
If you don't like it, don't use it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a lot more interested that the dishwasher CLEAN my dishes than protect them. That being said, I've had the same set of dinnerware for 10 years now, and I've been using Cascade all along; if there's any big change to the dishes, I can't tell it.

I received a 65 piece porcelain dinnerware set as a wedding present. The brand is "Randa Home Collection."

Unfortunately, I have no use for china at this stage in my life and nowhere to store it. I also can not find any stores that sell this particular brand so that I can return it, and can not even find anything about this brand on Google or Yahoo!. I do not believe this is an antique set. Does anybody know anything about this brand and what I could possibly do to return or sell the set?

Answer
Pose a question to the giver. Ask where they found it, as it's a lovely set and you would like to get complimentary pieces. They will be happy you like it, yet not know when you return it.
