Tonight my unit has a formal dinner. We all have to wear our navy dress blues. We were all given the day off to prepare everything, since our chief said an admiral will attend or something like that. When I was putting my uniform together, I dropped my medal rack on the floor and 7 out of my 10 medals cracked. I left and immediately drove to the base px, but they didn't have everything I need! What do I do? I don't know how to get them fixed or get replacements in only 10 hours. What should I do?

I don;t really beleive a word of your story for a number of reasons:
- you should be wearing whites at this time of the year (unless you are in the UK, but your time frame rules that out)
- as you posted this an hour ago, the only place your timeline of needing this in ten hours makes sense is if you are in Hawaii, and they definitely do not wear blues
- today is Saturday - of course you have the day off
- just because an Admiral is attending is no reason to change the way you have to prepare
- issue medals do not crack when dropped
- the Navy does not call their on-base sales store a "PX" - that is an Army thing
- even if your medals did break, you can wear the ribbons
See - none of what you say really adds up. I think that you are a wanna-bee who is trying to figure out how to scam some free medals so you pose as a Serviceman.

How much would I be expected to spend in a week in Paris, France?

I am visiting Paris, France for a week and I am wondering how much I would be expected to spend per day on the essentials like food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, etc.) and transportation whether it's a bus, train or a cab.
I will be taking like $2,000 extra cash and I want to know if that's enough.
I would like to dine in inexpensive cafés, I'm sure there has to be some.
Also, what is the sales tax?

Paris is pretty expensive and France in general is expensive to eat out. However, you can fine good small restaurants. Most places will have several levels of set menu, each with several choices for starter, main course and dessert. Or a price for a starter and main or a main and dessert. These menus are often good value and are much cheaper than using the a la carte menu. Look out for the Plat du jour (dish of the day), which is usually the best value of all.
Working as a waiter is a career in France rather than something done mostly by kids like in the USA or UK and the waiters make proper money, which is reflected in the prices..
Alcohol can be really expensive especially if you order drinks at an outside table at a smart place. 1,500% mark up over the supermarket price of drinks isn't uncommon.
Don't take all your money in cash. ATMs will work fine and everywhere will take cards. But be aware of the charges on your card.
Sales tax and service are usually included in the prices displayed. You won't be expected to tip an additional 15 or 20% like you are in the USA.
