how do i hook up my sattalites for dish netwok?

Q. i had a dish 500 and upgraded to a dish 1000.2 and they are telling me i have too have both dishes connected to my reciever. how?

Answer
You need a switch that can be bought from Dish Network. The switch goes between the receiver and the two antennas. During setup, the receiver will detect the switch and figure out how to work it. Once you set it up, it works without you having to do anything, and you will have access to the channels received by both dishes.

I don't know of any such software. I have only seen the FTA set top boxes.
