wedgewood dinner service?

i have a dinner set. 6 plates, 6 bowls and a vegetable bowl with an ornate lid. It is marked wedgewood underneath and is cream porcelain with a gold plated rim round the edge with an 'S' printed on them. Anyone know which line this is from wedgewood? They were given to me as a family heirloom.

How would I value and sell an old dinner service?

I have a 6 place setting Johnson bros snow white dinner service that is not in use, I am looking to sell it but have no idea who to approach and how to know that I am getting a good deal... Has anyone sold a dinner service like this before and could give me an idea of an asking price or does anyone know how to go about selling it?
