dinnerware sets for less image

Eric
What are good items that I can collect that will be able to make me money in the future? Like things I can collect that after saving them for 20-30 years will be worth like double or I mean like just more than what I put in for the collection? Any ideas?
Answer
There are tons and tons of things that you can collect. Collecting lp or viynl records of certian artists such as the temptations, elvis, the beatles, and many other artists. Also collecting coins can be a big profit if you buy the right coins. Coins such as Silver dollars, gold coins, even wheat pennies (look on google) if they are hard to come by. Even beanie babies such as the first set of beanie babies sold to the public such as the unicorn horse, the mellinium bear, and many more. Also old cameras from the late 1800's all the way up to the 1970's. The parts or the whole camera could be put up for sale. Also try going to antique stores in your area and take a look around. Write down some things that have a big price tag and research if anyone is selling those items for less. Going to flea markets can also give you a good idea of what to collect and sell. Forgot to mention that also china ware such as teacups, plates, teapots, and and anything else you can collect can also sell for a hefty price but it depends upon the condition of the dinnerware and who made it. Hopes this helps. Happy Collecting!

worth of Blue Willow Ware dinnerware from Japan 1950 -1960 circa?

ivory1ebon
set of dinnerware with trim. 6 dinner plates, 6 saucers, 6 bread and butter plates 6 dessert bowls, and 6 cups
.
Answer
Is this the willow ware that has a brown trim around the edges?
It might be worth something primarily if you have the complete set. However sets like these fromt he 50's and 60's aren't worth too terribly much due to the quality and the mass production.
You really need to do a bit of research. Are there markings on the bottoms of the plates? Do all of the markings match? Did they come with boxes? Any markings on the boxes?
If its what I think it is, your looking at about $30 per plate and less than that for the other items. Thats what they sell for in Japan at antique shows.
