can you suggest any games or activities that we could do together?

Answer
Boy or girl? That always make alot of difference.

-Hide-and-seek.
-Get some white computer paper and some (4-5) bottles of bubbles. Drop a few drops of food coloring in each bottle (one red bottle, one blue bottle, etc.). Blow bubbles, so that they pop onto the paper. This leaves a colored circle and some cool, colorful artwork. (best for girls)
-Get four pieces of white computer paper and tape them together to make a square. Get some crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc. and make your own boardgames! You'll neeed to design it, name it, set rules, etc. When you're both finished, play them! You can use dice from another boardgame or pull numbers out of a hat to see how many spaces to move.
-Play with sidewalk chalk outside on the driveway. (better for girls)
-Play charades.
-Make a Dream Collage. Gather some child-friendly magazines, catalogs, or pictures from the internet. (JCPenney, Toy advertisements, etc.) and have them cut out everything they'd like to own, travel to, experience, etc. (If they want to visit New York, cut out a picture of Times Square. If they want to see a NFL team play, cut out the team logo. If they want a certain outfit, cut it out.) Glue everything down onto the paper. It's his/her/your choice if the pictues somewhat overlap.
-Make cookies from scratch.
-Make an "I Love You" card for the parents and/or grandparents.
-Make a "picnic lunch". Spread a blanket out on the floor and watch a movie while you eat (have popcorn as a side dish). Or, make a picnic lunch, spread a blanket out outside and eat out there.
-Play with cars and trucks and make a town using blocks. (best for boys)
-Play dolls, house/family, school, or store. (best for girls)
-Get a piece of construction paper, draw a picture using the entire paper. Cut it up into pieces then are about an inch big. Don't do straight squares, but cut it into curves, triangles, etc. Give it to her/him and let it put it back together like a puzzle. She/he can do one too and give it to you to put back together.
-Play board games.
-Ride bikes or scooters in the driveway.

Do these dishes go with this dining set?

Or are the dishes too country/rustic for the dining set?

Here are the dishes:

Answers to my other question about this dining set were excellent. If you answered that question and have an opinion on this issue, please answer.

Thanks for any help. I haven't bought anything yet. I'm still trying to figure out my style.

Answer
no i think the dishes would go great with the table. but i think you should put a centerpiece in the middle of the table when you get it, like an exotic plant or a beautiful art sculpture. that would be awesome i hope you like my answer .Good Luck
