Answer
Right now you are in one of your biggest growing stages in your life, so do keep in mind that you are going to be skinny, because you are still growing up. Also, be thankful you are not fat. I also suffer from being skinny (and am slowly gaining weight.. which I will get to down below).

It would have been nice if you had given us your weight/height, but I will just assume that you are 120 pounds. (you can redo the math if you weigh differently)

There are four main things you need to look at when trying to gain weight:

Calorie Intake (15-20 calories per lb you weight): 2400 calories a day.

Protein (1g per pound): 120g of protein a day.

Carbs: try to eat around 150g a day.

Fats: no set ammount of fats, just try to eat a lot of them IN THE MORNING (not so much in the afternoon, and especially not after you work out, if you want to start working out)

If you want, I will post a workout link below, you can start working out, and you should eat a lot of protein and carbs after each workout. (only do it a maximum of once a day, ideally 5 times a week)

Protein: go for EGGS, protein shakes (these will be your best friend), chicken, PEANUT BUTTER, and some meats, (preferrably sea food and chicken).

Carbs: eat A LOT of pasta, bread, potatoes.

Fats: eat nuts, (peanut butter), olive oil, cheese, some meats, and fatty fish.

MEAL PLAN:

Breakfast (you MUST eat breakfast to gain weight): try eating hashbrowns OR toast, with at least one egg, and some meat (perhaps faux meat if you are a vegetarian), or put peanut butter on your toast. Also, sprinkle with cheese for some extra fat and calories.

Lunch: Try a high protein sandwhich with carbs like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Tuna Fish (I'm not a big fan, but it works none the less). Perhaps a ham/turkey sandwhich with cheese top it with mayo. Also pack some cheese, and some crackers.

Snack: Cheese and crackers, celery with hummus/peanut butter, try to eat something that is high in protein and carbs. (nuts are also good)

Dinner: PASTA is your best friend, it is loaded with carbs. Top it off with some tomato sauce and a source of protein (nuts, meat, faux meat, ect.)

Warning: do NOT eat a bunch of unhealthy foods, these will make you gain FAT, and you will regret it.
Instead, start using the provided workout and eat after it.

If you eat all that I have told you to eat, you WILL gain weight, also remember that you are still growing, so you should not worry too much about your thickness, that will come when you are in your later teens.

I would look into a good protein shake (GNC sells good shakes, try the vanilla, put it in milk NOT water), OR get a weight gainer. Warning: if you get a weight gainer make sure you are working out. I would not suggest one with creatine in it until you are at least 16.

Good luck! If you follow the steps provided you will gain weight. Remember that c-=

P.S. If you track your progress (i.e. weigh yourself every two weeks) you will see the increase, if you don't track your progress you may not notice your progress. Keep a journal of what you ate and if you worked out. Also, try to set a goal weight. (perhaps you are 120, and you want to be 130 in two months)

Good luck!!

Quick Edit: Do NOT be a couch potato, that girl that said that is obviously uninformed.

what was your favorite thing about staying in a bed & breakfast?

What draws you to stay at one?

Would you stay at an ultra modern B&B?

lots of input please

Answer
Hiya - www.bedandbreakfastworld.com has this article:

10 reasons to stay in a B&B

B&Bs are as individual as the guests who stay in them. Personalised service, hearty breakfasts and a warm family atmosphere are just a few reasons why more and more people are choosing this type of accommodation. Read our top ten reasons to stay in a B&B and perhaps suggest a few of your own.

1. Money talksâ¦We could all do with saving a few pennies right now, but that doesnât mean you have to forgo that holiday or weekend away. B&Bs provide a cheaper option than staying in a hotel, while still offering all the facilities and services you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

2. The personal touchâ¦Most B&B owners are self-employed, relying on repeat business and word-of-mouth to survive. This means that hosts will go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible. Furthermore, the fact that B&Bs normally have just a handful of guests allows for more individual attention and a higher level of service. The more intimate setting creates a sociable atmosphere; guests can share travel tips and make new friends over breakfast.

3. And speaking of breakfastâ¦B&Bs usually offer a tasty range of freshly prepared breakfast options, often including the traditional speciality of their region. Ingredients are normally organic and locally produced, sometimes coming from the ownerâs back garden (follow this link to see a selection of Farmhouse B&Bs). If youâre lucky, home-cooked lunches and dinners may be on offer too, and B&Bs often prepare packed lunches for you to take with you as you explore your surroundings.

4. Thereâs no place like homeâ¦When you stay in a B&B you are a house guest in a family home, and you, your children and even the furrier members of the family will be greeted as such. A B&B owner is more than just a concierge; they are a friend with whom you can share your memories.

5. From Argentina to Zambiaâ¦Another advantage of staying in someoneâs home is that people live everywhere. Even in the remotest areas where a hotel would struggle to survive, people are willing to open their homes to visitors. Have a look at Finca el Cielo, a charming B&B set in rural Colombia, or the traditionally rustic Riad Oussaggou, set high in the Atlas Mountains. That said, we have plenty of B&Bs in the worldâs most dynamic cities, such as Barcelona, New York and London.

6. When in Romeâ¦Staying in a B&B really gives you the opportunity to live like a local, witnessing firsthand the sights, sounds, colours and customs of your destination, not to mention the food. And who better to give you advice and information about the areaâs best-loved attractions and best-kept secrets than one of its residents?

7. An exclusive holidayâ¦Most B&Bs have no more than just four or five rooms, making them ideal for groups of friends or families holidaying together. By special arrangement you may be able to book the entire property, meaning you get the experience of having your own private holiday home while still having breakfast cooked for you!

8. Rest assuredâ¦Having just a small number of guests to look after, owners are much more aware of whatâs going on in their property. This means that B&Bs enjoy a higher level of security, with issues such as theft which cause problems for larger hotels almost non-existent.

9. Peace and quietâ¦The friendly, family atmosphere encountered in a B&B promotes a greater sense of respect for your hosts and fellow guests, and large crowds of rowdy partygoers are rarely seen. B&Bs also tend to have plenty of quiet nooks where you can relax with a cup of tea and a good book, from cosy fireplace lounges to cottage gardens.

10. And finallyâ¦Everyoneâs home is unique, and your holiday will be too. Whether youâre staying in a Georgian townhouse B&B, a converted mansion or a farmhouse B&B, it is the owners who give a house its true personality and who make it a home.

Well you did ask for lots of input! :)
