Why do dinnerware sets always come with a bunch of stupid mugs?

Q. No one puts mugs out with dinner first of all. Second of all most people already have a bunch of mugs. It's so annoying how you can't buy a dinnerware set without getting a bunch of stupid mugs.

you are not choosing the right sets of dinnerware..... if a set has mugs, look for another style of ware..... there's plenty out there with cups....real cups....
