Where can I find Del Prado dinnerware sets?

My mother gave me a dinnerware set from Spain, the bottom is stamped Art Gallerie Collection Ironstone Del Prado Spain. I am trying to complete the set, but am having difficulties finding it anywhere.

Pontesa is the leading ironstone tableware there. If you can get us an image of the dish set and a close up of the back mark it will help. I don't suppose your mom can shed any light?

since it is 'discontinued', there's no price available for a full set.... so you'll have to add up the prices you find at Replacements and then take about 20% off as their markup profit....that will give you a reasonable price for the set.....or sign up here and maybe find a set there...

Why do dinnerware sets always come with a bunch of stupid mugs?

No one puts mugs out with dinner first of all. Second of all most people already have a bunch of mugs. It's so annoying how you can't buy a dinnerware set without getting a bunch of stupid mugs.

you are not choosing the right sets of dinnerware..... if a set has mugs, look for another style of ware..... there's plenty out there with cups....real cups....

Where to get an really nice dinnerware set for Thanksgiving?

Q. This is my first Thanksgiving in my new house and we are have guest. I want a beautiful table but can't seem to find an elegant pumpkin dinnerware set. I have searched all the big stores ie Macy's, Kohl's, JC Penny's, Belks etc and nothing. I have spent hours on the internet and cant seem to find anything that gives a WOW Factor.

Probably there are not a lot of pumpkin dinnerware choices, unless you do paper plates. I did find a cute pumpkin soup set, that might be good to accompany your dinner. If you just had really nice plates, and then some napkins that were festive that might be nice too. Check out these pumpkin soup bowls at Target, It think they are cute. If not soup, they could have gravy in them, or salad, or pumpkin custard for dessert!

you can buy it and get it shipped to your place, then send it thru the big courier companies (aramex, DHL, Fedex ) .. and if you'll choose another company, make sure that they have a branch in the UAE .. so your shipment doesn't end up going to the post office..

I'm looking for examples of dinnerware sets where for example, the fork is an octopus and the bowl is a big bear.

I think Joep van Lieshout did.
okay now I checked his site ateliervanlieshout.com and the artwork I remembered seeing at an exhibition is Board Room (you can see an image in the down part on screen, it's a table with plates and cups). but I think it's not what you want: he uses his own sculptures merely as images on the dinnerware that could be used by the imaginary people using one of his other sculptures.
