does anyone know a website that have pretty reasonable prices for apple dinnerware, platemat's or other apple decor for the kitchen

There's always ebay, but if you want more commericalized sites:
Theme Kitchen seems to have a variety of apple sets. Not necessarily reasonable prices to me (of course, I don't go in for the whole theme kitchen deal), but if you don't like the prices it's always a good starting point for finding items and the kind of style you like.
Country Porch seems a little sketch to me, but they have reasonable prices and the usual country-fied style of apple decor.
While I'm not entirely sure why USA Wallpaper also sells home dec, they have some neatly unified sets of stuff like coasters, cutting boards, etc, in a cafepress kind of style (an image printed onto everything).
For that matter, Cafepress might actually have some stuff, if you want a more modern style and less country. In that same vein, try Target once it hits summer. They tend to go in for the whole fruit thing in great plastics that last forever unless you horribly mistreat them and generally have one colorscheme for the whole deal (plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc.) so you can get a whole set.
If you want wall treatments, etc, I'd personally say just go to a local hardware or craft store and flip through the stensils. Sponges are cheap and good paint isn't that hard or expensive to aqquire if you choose a color scheme wisely and don't wildly over estimate the amount of paint you need.

This depends a lot on what part of China they are from. Some Chinese parents care more about very traditional things (like the goose idea from above), but that's more for southern areas, and honestly I've never heard of that, but I'll believe it. Just be careful because families that no longer follow traditional customs like that may be offended if you bring them gifts like that, because they may not even know what it means anymore and if they do, they might be offended because they see that as pretty backwards. People from the North care more about something more practical. If you are only getting something for the parents, the dinnerware set or wine sound like good ideas, but make sure the wine is from your country or a well-known brand. You can also bring them other things from your country. Make sure it's not "made in China" and it's something that they can show off. The best thing to do is still to ask your fiance how traditional/superstitious her parents are, because that makes a world of difference. Really, she will know best what will be acceptable to her parents.
EDIT: I just realized you're name is Shanghai Joe, so I'll assume her parents are from Shanghai. In that case, it's important for you to know that Shanghai is pretty much the MOST modern and westernized Chinese city, so I would guess that her parents are pretty far from following very traditional customs, although they may still follow some just for fun. Again, you need to ask her this.
